Hey @NWICY, my Tomcat Jaws of Death was 2-0 today. These traps are the greatest.

Apparently the mice have looked over the forecast and decided my garage is better than the garden. They were mistaken.

I've bought a couple singles to MBB before down in the parquet and everyone else in the section is a season ticket holder and they mostly won't even speak to me. Got a weird arrogance vibe when I tried talking to them. Was not part of the little country club in their section apparently. :(

Should have told them you drive a Porsche.

After a wk or so of inactivity my basement traps also got 2 yesterday. Luckily none in the upstairs traps. None sighted either and that is a good thing.

Back in the early 90's a friend of mine used to get tickets in the parquet. He got the tickets from a $2,500 level donor that at the time lived in New Jersey. They moved him up a couple of times and people around him would give him the third degree about why he was sitting in "insert name here" seats. The last time ISU asked him if he wanted to move up he told them no. I wonder if he still gets tickets, I should text him.

I used to do this. Got four seats from a buddy who had very nice seats. If something exciting happened I would stand and cheer, got in trouble for that. Apparently a lady two rows behind can't stand hardly at all so no one can stand at any time.

Just figured something out. I don't check my Linkedin account hardly ever. Usually just check what email tells me. There had been this one woman always wanting to "friend me" (or whatever their term is). She was from Austria and her picture was her in a pool, attractive and probably mid to late 20s. I figured it was some spam stuff.

I googled myself out of curiosity. Neither of my names are uncommon, but not a common combination (although there are now like 4 of us within my family, why did my cousins kids reuse my name???). There is some german dude about 30 who is like a big environmental company owner and does speeches in that part of Europe. Loads of stuff what pops up when I just google my name.

I think this woman had us mixed up. Thinking of friending her now. Maybe get more photos?

It's not just a Cyclone thing. Same stuff at Gopher men's games back when they were better and I'd go once in awhile. A REALLY high percentage of old rich folks are full on pricks. Not really salt of the earth types.

I ain't really even kidding here. It's why I don't fit in when I go to something at all swanky. The people in attendance can sense I am not "one of them" and can also sense I don't like their sorry asses either.

20 something German girl pool pics post that BC!

I was at the ISU-Minny game when the ball hit the scoreboard for ISU to win it. More than once I got told by Minn people to sit down. Seats were marginal at best though lower level, best part was you could use the I beams that held the balcony up to put your coat there. This random story was in reply to the seating discussion earlier by RGr8, BC, & Boxster.

I may have to duck after saying this, but I don't like the barn. Sure, it is historic, but I think it is kind of a crap hole. Sorry, I know some of our regulars like it.

I do like seeing ISU's men's and women's teams beat the Gophers there though.

And I had to go and open my big mouth.....

After announcing that I would be at the game last night, the chili I ate for supper Sunday night thought differently. I spent most of the afternoon and evening not far from the toilet. I was going to take my FIL and MIL to the game, and neither of them can drive after dark, so the whole trip was cancelled.

Hopefully KC isn't too upset, as I failed to take her place in cheering on the Cyclones. They did play pretty well, I guess, from what I could hear on the radio in between dashes to the loo.

Strange picture for her to choose for a LinkedIn profile.

My name is very uncommon (last name. First name is literally one of the most common names for anyone born in the 80’s).

But apparently there’s a world famous horse vet that shares the same name as I, so I get some strange views and requests on LinkedIn as well.

It’s pretty hard on my ego knowing I’m not the most famous person with my name.

Read an article that Hooters has been losing business left and right. I have been in the store one time in my life. I don't really like eating things that make a mess of you, and chicken wings are not my thing either. I have also never been the type to stare at a woman's bewbs while she is standing right there talking to me. I make eye contact, so it kinda defeats the purpose of the store.

I don't like the barn much either. Too many weird access points and hallways to get into and out of the main arena.

Went to the one in Des Moines freshman year at ISU. Roommate left his number for our waitress. Entire experience was a bit weird and awkward. Pretty sure there was a 6-8 year old kid having a bday party there as well.
