Well that’s embarrassing. In my defense, I had looked it up and saw that the next game was tech but didn’t look at the dates. Also Sara and Lawman were talking about the game so I figured it was today.
And “traitor” is such a harsh word. I prefer to think of myself as someone who takes advantage of opportunities haha.
They didn’t when you were in school? They were both in the CIML when I was in school and I think played each other then.
Ft Dodge, Marshalltown, Valley, Newton, Johnston, Urbandale, Ames, Mason City is what I believe it was. Maybe Ankeny? But I’m pretty sure Ankeny wasn’t. I think we just played them once in non-con.
lol, reminds me of my first usage of the word "inevitable." Knew exactly what it meant, had seen it plenty of times in books that I'd read, so understood the context and everything.
Emphasized the "vit" syllable ("It is IN-ee-VIT-a-bull...") and both of my parents started howling with laughter. Not very nice to make fun of little 9 year old Harimad's pronunciation.
I got a voucher for a free pork sandwich (tenderloin, pulled pork or pulled pork melt) at Jethros. Has to be used by 10/31 and I won’t be able to use it. If anyone wants it I will mail it to you.
Have never even been to the Jethros here except in their party rooms. We very rarely go out to eat and our Jethros does not get good reviews.
Last team into the playoffs luckily. Think someone didn’t pull a map out for brackets. Us and 3 teams from Sioux City area. 3 + hours.
Haven't heard much about Jethro's except they're all over the bathrooms at Hilton.
Have not been to the one here yet, but Lew loves tenderloin & is always game to try a new one so if no one else wants it, we'll take it.
Our team did not do well this year. But districts/regionals for other sports are all over the place. VB we played at home our first game. CC drew the meet 3+ hrs away with teams who had all run the course before. I have come to the conclusion we are a CC school. Boys have gone to state for the past 9yrs. Girls have gone quite a few times, this year they weren’t as talented as they have been before.

I know you were talking at WI, but the oldest is playing softball just west of Chicago and they are getting rain/snow. I did pack plenty of layers for her, but this weather is not conducive to softball at all.
Need some quick advice. Im planning on going out to the friends house qhose brother died and seeing him and his parents. Im not great with this stuff, so what should I do/say?
