TCU postgame thread

Let’s face it. TCU was the better team. Penalties went in our favor. TCU made some stupid turnovers. Our offense was awful. Somehow our D kept us in the game but it wasn’t enough. And the schedule only gets tougher. We are ISU!
The schedule doesn't only get tougher. We have Oklahoma and TCU past us. True, there are other good teams in the Big 12, but not all tougher than the 2 we have faced.

It’s not exactly a one game problem.

Things are hard enough when you have OL that’s still developing and playing a walkon, but it doesn’t help that we’re playing checkers in a game of chess.

Without a OL that can consistently run block and pass protect we are going to have to be the best checkers players we can because we won't be playing chess until that OL is better.

Quite frankly who cares how good the d was on 3rd down, they held TCU to 17 points. That's a good game for the d in my opinion.
Agree, and 7 of those came on the fumble scoop and score. Was tough we allowed so many third down conversions, but giving up 10 points on defense is great! Our defense is very good. They did not lose this game or the eiu game.

I know the type of team that CMC eventually wants to have, and his offensive playcalling reflects that. slowly grinding away at defenses and eventually out-muscle the other team.

But sadly, our offensive line is still a year or two away from being able to do that yet for some reason he hasn't realized this in regards to playcalling
