Had my mom come up to watch little man while I'm on this call........he's slept like all day, pooped a bunch and had some smiley time interactive cooing at her times.

She's totally hated it, lol.

I told her I'm doing more days from home in Oct and she's like I'll be here for any you want!

The big ducks were out on Lake Harriet this afternoon.

oh man, I want brownies now. Do they have dairy??? Day 1 of trying totally dairy free was a great fail. I was like I can have eggs + pbj sandwich, go me!

Halfway through the eggs cooking, I realized I put butter in the pan.

Im sure there is a recipe out there somewhere, could always try soy or almond milk. ;)

I'll come up and distract little man while you gorge yourself.

What happened?

He hand propped it which is a procedure done to basically pull the propeller through quickly to start an engine when there is no starter or the starter is broken. Think of it as popping the clutch. I have done it when I was young and dumb (five years ago when my aunt and uncle refused to believe the that battery was dying and would rarely have enough power to turn the engine over. Now...I wouldn't do it on a plane with a starter due to how easily it can fire at pretty much any point.

This guy made several mistakes. It doesn't appear that he has anyone on the brakes to prevent it from rolling away. Nor does he appear to have it chocked to again prevent it from moving. When starting an engine you generally have the throttle about 1/8 to 1/2 open. He appears to have it a little higher than that.

Here is a good short video on how to do it.

Guy was a total maroon. They should seize his plane and give it to you, after they fix it.

Little man, I like this nickname. He does think he is a stud, giving flirty smiles to the nurse yesterday and making her laugh when she was trying to count his breaths. Also, he has a natural mohawk. Like, legit.

Zoolander is a near perfect movie......It is mugatulicious. We all know they could not make Blazing Saddles ever again....I'm not so sure they could make Zoolander today with all the Haters finding offense. Maury Ballstein. LOL>...

Anyone have tips getting rid of fruit flies? Got a bad case at our house.

so this is kinda horrible but I read it somewhere and used it. Put fruit rinds or whatever they came in for on a tray in the oven overnight/during a day and leave the oven door cracked open. Then when you get home or wake up, shut the oven door and turn it on.

It worked. I think you can also use like fruit rinds in a container and then put plastic wrap over it with a small hole? They can find their way in but not out.

Wash bananas and other similar fruits when you bring them home from the store to get rid of eggs.
If you mean how right now, try vinegar water (or maybe it’s sugar water) in a jar. Invite them in and they’ll drown. Maybe.
