Yeah, that's what I get for getting my PE and also working for a contractor.

Although I do still get to blame the design engineer (unless it's my drawings) so that works out in my favor.

Right now I hate survey, so I'd throw those guys under like 20 buses.

My issue is that the Father of Our Country would have picked up what I needed. My surveyors did not.

Next time I send them out, I'll remind them about George.

It's not the PLSs that are the issue. It's the unskilled field guys (not saying they all are, but we've had a few off and on that have been terrible) that can barely run a total station that miss things for me. Obviously painting with a broad brush, but the boundary is usually the least of our problems.

The DOT has already stated that it was a construction error, not an error with the design or the plans.

2. Reiman Gardens south endzone "garden" is opened to the public.

I thought I read Reiman is supposed to be finished this fall. They sure didn't seem to get a whole lot done over the summer. Maybe there was a lot of drainage work that needed to be done first.
