Exactly. You know when would be another good time to make noise? ON FOURTH DOWN WHEN THEY ARE KICKING A FIELD GOAL.

It’s like the crowd is like “yeah, we did our job on third down, so it’s done.”

No. They still have another down. They can still false start on 4th down. You can still make the kicker nervous on 4th down.

It would be like in basketball your team blocking the other teams last second shot out of bounds, but then not making noise anymore even though there’s .9 seconds left that they’ll still get the ball.

It’s just weird to me that, overall, we have pretty damn smart basketball fans (in terms of when to cheer and make noise) yet are football fans are so ******* stupid about it.

You havent been to a bball game have you? Much worse. Higher percentage of old people.

I think that’s deserving of being featured on the big screen. Just tell me when and I’ll take a pic!

Alumni association took pics at our gamewatch last week. Cannot imagine that such distinguished RTT folks won't end up on the Trice big screen at some point this year. ;)

Found out where the old folks hang out before games, the Alumni Center. Most of the people there were older than me which ain't young. At local stuff I'm the old guy, not at games at ISU.

Lot of old and quiet people at the volleyball match to. They should have let us getting in on football tickets sit in the season ticket sections since those looked 75% empty. Kinda of a shame, most of the crowd was in the horseshoe end away from the court.

Hey, we tailgate in A3 (use the Alumni Cenyer for restroom breaks) and were at volleyball. Needed to tell DH to be quiet during the first much because I didn’t want attention on me. But we are not that quiet.

And they all called me a young alumni. I dug it.

Not much to cheer about in that 2nd and 3rd set. Bailed to hit the road after that.

Just channel flipped into Last Ship on TNT , Had no idea this junk was still airing. The fact I haven't channel flipped past it means I am drinking. It sucks and I am watching it.

The commercials are better than the show...this made me laugh.

Don't know if I have ever seen a team false start on a field goal. Nearly every team wedges, so there is no snap count; its a silent snap and you just wedge down when the guy besides you moves. Usually there is a better chance of them spacing out and letting someone through more than false starting.

Yes it's terrible to have people there who actually watch the game, and actually show up to games other than Iowa and KU. Student section in the balcony fills up for no more than 4 games a yr.

I appreciate the student section I wish they were going to be there for KU during break but their not, Hilton will be sold out however. I know you graduated a couple of years ago hope you've got your tickets ordered if not I'll be there to cheer enough to make up for you just like I have since 84 but go ahead and b*tch about old people.

But it can happen, right? And the kicker can get shaken up, right? Do we have a limited number of plays we’re allowed to make noise so we have to reserve them for other times?

We are allowed 2 dozen, so we save them for the more important one so. I had some doo dahs who were trying to get everyone loud when were at the line on offense. Some drunk millenials, probably trying to blow that condom out they snorted.

I honestly struggled to get into that game. My oldest and I are huge football fans in general. I looked at him in the third and said this game is kinda blah. He agreed. My youngest then said he was ready to go whenever.
