Well, I am reading and responding to this thread, so I am distracted and counting down the hours/minutes to loading the car with tailgating gear.

56 hours and counting! Great Scott, does anyone have a Delorean with a flux capacitor that produces 1.21 gigawatts of electricity? I am going to go crazy with anticipation

I'm always amazed at the number of people that don't have a clue as to what time or what TV station games are on just a couple days before kickoff. Like do people not put in any effort/research before they even ask a question anymore?
We have this valuable resource called Cyclones.com and can be found here that lists out times and who will be carrying the game: https://cyclones.com/schedule.aspx?path=football

88mph is the key. That and having fuel for the Mr. Fusion.
Not everyone was blessed enough to be born in the age of technology. Thus, they refer to their old habits of asking around. I mean, my dad who is in his mid 50s still flips through the guide to find out what time the game starts despite having a smart phone in his pocket. It would be okay, but he goes to the guide like days in advance so there is like 3 minutes of awkward silence while he gets the guide to Saturday.
LOL Good stuff. Reminds me of the time my teenage boys watched me move something they didn't think I could and said I had "old man strength". My secret - an extra 40 pounds of "push"!Yeah, there is a certain level of resourcefulness in those guys.
It's all good. Yes, the same people who visit CycloneFanatic.com on the regular could just as easily type "iowa state football tv" into any search engine, but it's mostly harmless conversation starter. Asking what channel a game is on is ingrained in many humans the same as asking about the weather. Yes, humans could simply step outside and look up, but it's filling a void with mindless, friendly conversation.

What really grinds my gears is that the game at Texa$ is on LHN and I have no way to watch it. No options available for a 1-game streaming pass.
*******.
You could get a PsVue subscription for 1 month and get the sports package, that would probably be around $40. Idk if there is another streaming service that has Lhn included with the basic package. That’s could be cheaper. Just don’t forget to cancel.
I missed Vue as one of the providers. I cut the cord and am with Sling presently.
Is that still $25/month for the basic espnU/News package? They advertise it as such but I've used two months or so.
Worked pretty well last year.
If ISU's decent they may be more viewable so may not even be on those channels. If so it's still cheaper than what I would spend at the bar. Healthier too.
