Drank some champagne on deck tonight with a friend, did not get mosquito bitten. Minnesota, summer, out after dark, no bites, this be nicely out of the norm. The only explanation I can think of is alien intervention of some sort.
There's been a surprising lack of mosquitoes so far this year. I'm not complaining, just making an observation.

lived in this house for 15 years. Maybe its time to get our house number somewhere. We live on a stretch that is 1 1/2 blocks long and we are technically the only house on our block but with no road south of us, the people see the house south and see a number that is 100 off. There is no street directly north, so people can get slightly confused. If they just looked at the street sign or the huge brick sign across the street with the church address on it wouldn't be too difficult.

I don't like the look of them on a house, but people seem to struggle finding our house.

The history and politics of OPEC is pretty fascinating. There's a book called The Prize (it's probably a bit dated now) about the history of the petroleum industry that's really interesting.

It has been very interesting to research the history of some of these and how tight the cartels were/are.

Maybe you need to change your address to "across the street from the church."

Here's the cheap solution:

Yesterday I did my part to help my in-laws get their house on the market. I showed up and my FIL is sitting down and BIL is laying on the couch. SIL was apparently sleeping or something (4pmish) So he had me get up on the roof and clean the gutters which were thankfully not too bad. Did some caulking in the kitchen and painted some outside and inside. One of the main reasons I was there was to help him put up some mirror but apparently it was still drying so I just went home for dinner. BIL never got up from the couch. FIL did do some work but did sit down for at least 25% of the time that I was there.

They have done a lot of work and I think it is listable but the issue we are forecasting is their ability to keep it in show shape. Especially with my BIL and SIL still there. It's supposed to be on the market by COB tomorrow or they lose the condo they have a contract on...it's going to be close.

You could always go for the old house number on the curb solution:

Your left leg will be sore when you get home from pressing an imaginary brake pedal against the floor.
Oh, so you are one of those left foot brakers, huh? Do you ride the brake pedal all of the time? ;)

It amazes me the number of people out there who drive constantly with the brake lights on. I'll bet they get great gas mileage.
