They had a nursing segment on the news. One kid like looked like he could walk to the fridge and pour himself a drink of milk. How old do most people nurse kids. I thought it was from 9-18 months when you were supposed to start weaning them.
Everyone is different. There's no specific deadline. I figure when they bite, they're done. Most definitely done when they can ask for it with real words. I did daycare for a few kids when my boys were very small (cheaper than working and paying for daycare). One woman brought her four-year-old in for the interview. He sat on her lap during our conversation. Okay, no biggee. But then he announced "Want tit, mommy" and proceeded to unbutton her shirt and latch on. My only thought was "I hope he drinks from a cup, too"!

This was Wifey-poo's rule too. Those little teeth are like razors!

The wife and I are going to Kansas City for the weekend soon. Any good ideas for a married couple to do down there? Staying downtown

The art museum is really neat and free, WW1 memorial/museum is really good, royals game if your BB fans. There is a BBQ bus tour that is really fun but kind of pricey. Lc's for bbq down in a kind of rough looking part of town.

Walking back from the gym and I accidentally cracked my hand on like a stair railing that leads from the sidewalk into someone’s yard and I’m fairly certain I broke my hand.

Well there is a civil case, win that and you won't have to find anew job for quite awhile.

Siren practice going on right now. Cannot remember them ever being sounded other than for practice. Even when the tornado touched down two blocks from here a few years ago they never sounded. I was watching the Twins game on TV and didn't know anything had happened until I heard cop and emergency vehicle sirens in the neighborhood. Small tornado but it did **** Teddy Wirth Park up and then some in the Nordeast. This was only 3 miles from the Twins game and they weren't even in a weather delay. A little different track on the tornado could have been pretty bad with a stadium of fans and no warning. .

We were at a Twins game pretty much exactly a year ago. Radar showed good old afternoon storms around the area with one basically developing on the other side of downtown. Lightning visible. No delay in the game until it started pouring. I am less than impressed with the Twins and their weather procedures. That being said MLB as a whole and really the whole sports industry REALLY struggle with this. Sadly in many cases this is due to the decision being left up to the umps/refs...they are a little busy to be watching a radar and the sky aren't they?

Dang that idiots and morons thread turned into gold there for a couple of pages. That was a heck of a paragraph Janny wrote before giving Buddy the ban hammer. Then @GTO's comments about raccoons and trash cans.

Eat BBQ. The P&L District can entertain you for a night, maybe two. Boulevard brewery tour is fairly interesting. The Royals stadium is really cool. I hear the Negro League Baseball Museum is super interesting. Walk around Country Club Plaza. Lots of fountains.

Super excited and nervous at the same time right now. Son is boarding a plane to interview as one of two candidates brought to campus for assoc director of res life at the place where he was born. I'm very hopeful that he gets it - they want out of where they are. Cross your fingers, y'all!!!

There is a female king in the Xanth novels by Piers Anthony. I read several of them when I wore a younger man's clothes.

This is really funny. I mentioned these books last night to Z. We were discussing Night mares and Day mares.....I don't think she got the pun, but she did enjoy that they were black and white depending on the dreams.
