The best part of that goal though was the way Hazard wiggled enough space on the outside to get the cross in. Fake the cross with the right, spin back the other way from the defender and get the cross in with your left foot.

My co-worker heard me say "Oh My" when the cross got past lukaku to chadli, I had to tell her what I was reacting to. Luckily my boss is gone for the day, though haha

Of course it did, that's why they played that way. If they would have tried to play an open game against Spain they probably would have been sliced to ribbons. I'm just making the point that saying that Spain looked like trash had more to do with Russia's desire to make the game a **** show than an inherent lack of talent from the Spaniards.

Honest question - why isn’t the US playing that way?
