So after goals scored is it, like the weird yellow card/red card point system they were talking about? After that I think it gets weird, but it doesn't seem like it'll matter.

Basically yeah, apparently Senegal is the first team to be eliminated from the world cup because of the fair play tiebreaker. They had 6 yellow cards to Japan's 4.So after goals scored is it, like the weird yellow card/red card point system they were talking about?
Velo posted the list of tiebreakers last page I believeSo after goals scored is it, like the weird yellow card/red card point system they were talking about?
That is so ******. I guess it's slightly less arbitrary than drawing lots.Basically yeah, apparently Senegal is the first team to be eliminated from the world cup because of the fair play tiebreaker. They had 6 yellow cards to Japan's 4.
Old school MLS style penalty shootout!
Does this Tunisia game matter?Matches that don't matter suck to watch in the World Cup.
Does this Tunisia game matter?
Ya I watched that one and flipped overThe Belgium/England match was awful.
Which is too bad because if they had to compete at their highest level that game would've been awesome to see.The Belgium/England match was awful.
Was there no seeding ramifications or did they just not care?Which is too bad because if they had to compete at their highest level that game would've been awesome to see.
They were both in with no worries, whoever won would be first in the group, but there has been discussion on whether it would be better to be in the second position because you would be playing what they thought was either Senegal or Japan, I believe. Was there no seeding ramifications or did they just not care?
France has dominated the first half. Argentina needs to get an actual #9 in the game, hopefully Aguero. Messi as a false 9 isn't working because both Pavon and Di Maria want to stay wide and attack off the dribble. Nobody is occupying the center backs when Messi drops. The Di Maria goal was fantastic, but frankly pretty fortunate for Argentina.
