@Cybirdy, I had several lengthy phone conversations with the lead attorney in that suit at the time. The Chicago firm that handled it initially was Freed & Weiss. They gave it to another firm, and the lead attorney then was the brother-in-law of the first name listed on the suit. (Plaintiff)
I read that it was settled out of court (typical), and the law firm ended up with the lion's share of the money (instead of the normal third), and the vast majority of the plaintiffs got little or nothing.
The guy I talked to at Freed/Weiss told me some pretty unbelievable stories about interactions between Pella and their customers....long story short, Pella should have been stuck for a lot more than they did.
