3/24 Snow Storm

Looks like the model placement and amounts were fairly accurate, in the grand scheme of things.
Crazy how quickly the snow dropped off on the NE side. Decorah got trace and the next county over got 12-18".

South side of this storm overproduced. My parents are near Fort Dodge.

Thursday night call: Looks like only a couple inches for you, Algona is looks to get hammered though.

Friday night call: Uhh maybe 4-5 now...

Friday night as I went to bed: Wow, each run shows more and more snow them

They ended up with 10 inches. Dad said early Saturday morning was some of the hardest snow he's ever seen.

Could be a touch premature, there are some indications next weekend could have some wintry weather.

I know. I was being optimistic though as I am more than ready to get some work done outside and just be active outside again without having to bundle up.
