NFL: Offseason Thread

How do you feel about the Vikes possibly moving on from Teddy B permanently?
I love Teddy so it sucks, but he's also a wild card so I understand not choosing him as our #1 guy. After the season ended, I wanted to see Keenum and Teddy come back. After hearing the news that Keenum was going to the Broncos, I wanted to get Cousins because he's more proven than Teddy and the Vikes are built to win now.

I wish they could sign Teddy as a backup, but that's probably not what he wants to do. Still wonder what could have been if he didn't get hurt so badly. So sad. I thought he was a complete steal for the Vikings.

Same here. He was on the rise when his injury occurred. Guys on the team have said he's gotten stronger so I'm definitely interested to see how he does.

From multiple tweets:

Sam Bradford has made $114M in his career and just signed up for $20M more. Zero playoff game snaps taken and only 34 regular season wins to go with 45 losses and one tie.

Kirk Cousins is 4-19 vs winning teams and has zero playoff wins. Will earn $132M once this Vikings contract is up.

4-19? That can’t be true. I’ve been told he’s really good.

do the Vikings have money to resign Barr, Diggs, and Kendricks? One of those guys are likely gone after this year I'd imagine.

They'll lose somebody. You kind of have to with the salary cap these days. If the Vikings think they can get a QB who will win them a super bowl, they need to sign him. It will suck to replace great defensive players with young guys, but that's the circle of life.

Depends on how the cousins contract is structured. They have a ton of cap room this year. If they front load the cousins deal, they could give themselves more flexibility in the next two years. Will have to see the deal
