I also wasn't very hungry and wanted to go to bed so it seemed like it'd be more enjoyable to wait
That was probably due to the presence of Vader. He was likely redirecting their craptastically aimed fire with the force.

so DH is gone and all and I make sure the doors are locked at night. Including my bedroom door cause you know, if they make it through the locked exterior doors, that last one'll stop em.
Also, there was a bang like 12:30am from somewhere. I legit was like "oh, DH must be moving something" before I thought it through. Convinced myself it was one of the dishes I tetris-ed onto the drying rack shifting and falling a bit. I'm still alive today so I think I was correct.

School was cancelled for us. Now there was only a little sleet and it's windy. It is supposed to start snowing soon but they are now predicting less than half of what the were predicting 15 ours ago.
If you've never had a cheesecake cupcake, they are like little bites of heaven.by the time I got done talking to Dh and then my mom last night, it was too late for cupcakes. So hopefully it's not dried out today, I kept it in the box. I was super tempted to get two because they had cheesecake ones as well. But it felt gluttonous to get two.
So I ordered clothes from a store on that side that I'll likely need to return. Of course, I'll do that in person.
You guys made me curious. Why did I read the Elsa thread.

Everyone is gun shy now because of all of the blow back from buses not being able to get students home a month or so ago.

To be fair even the weather talking heads said that they didn't predict it would be that bad. The combination of huge snowfalls right at evening rush so plows had no chance to move any of it resulted in a nightmare evening commute. I know that I left my work and had been gone over 30 minutes but could still see my building.
I learned the last two weekend that: 1. Jiffy cornbread mix is awesome and addictive and 2. Strawberry cake with strawberry icing is extremely sweet.
So, now we've made: banana items, cornbread, cake, and sugar cookies. I was also persuaded to frost the cake shortly after coming out of the oven.. That was exciting.

Did Z do the persuading? I made pumpkin bars for DH for Valentine's Day and I too, put on the frosting a bit early. Bars were delicious but you definitely had to eat them level or the frosting started to run away.
