Better late than never:
I finally saw Thor: Ragnarok for the first time yesterday. I really enjoyed it. Probably my favorite of the Thor series, but not good enough for me to regret not seeing it in theaters. I think this movie might be in my rotation of most re-watched MCU movies (joining Ant-Man & GotG 1). The pacing was great, as was the humor. The ending is kind of a mess once all the characters finally meet for the final battle, and really the only character that I thought was well-developed was The Hulk. Even Tom Hiddleston's Loki seemed a bit more subdued than how he was previously portrayed in the MCU, but you can tell that everyone had fun making this movie - surprisingly even Idris Elba (Heimdall), looked like he enjoyed it and he has been very vocal in the past for his displeasure during production of the first Thor film. I hope Taika Waititi can come back to the MCU, although I don't know if there is a franchise outside of Thor that would fit his directing-style. This film is in the upper-half of my personal MCU rankings, but I'll hold-off until this Fall to re-rank the MCU so I can include Black Panther, Infinity War, and Ant-Man & The Wasp.
