Yes, I did delete it since it was a wrong quote, didn't want to attack SC. No problem calling you names, you usually deserve it.

I've seen army of darkness, was a huge burn notice fan. Bruce is a true stud, you lawman, is no Bruce.

Just saw that Sunday was "No Pants Subway Ride" day around the world. Guessing that @cyrocksmypants is totally regretting living here in a city that has no subways. Seems like it would have been his kinda thing. :) I don't have the legs for it.

Did this originate in Australia or another southern hemisphere country? That is the only way I can think of to justify this occurring in January.

Hmmm, forecast is calling for actual real snow accumulation. Maybe I should go out and test start the old Toro snow chuckers. Did not do that earlier when it would have been nice and warm for any trouble shooting required. Oh, well, it is 50 degrees warmer than last week, so that's good.

If it is a "No Pants" subway ride wouldn't that mean Pants isn't allowed on?

I'm not sure why anyone ever came up with this idea.

My snowblower broke and I need to buy and put on a new cowl. Looks like I'm going to be shoveling.

My snowblower won't start and after some investigation with my dad he believes that there is a blockage in the fuel line somewhere. Should probably get it in somewhere but I haven't used it in the 2 years I have had it soooo

Was the gas turned off or on during this time?

On. It would very briefly run off of the prime but then died on every attempt. Drained and refilled with new fuel with no luck.

Couple things maybe. 1) if it was on, it will take awhile to push that old gas through. 2) The carb is probably gummed up and not allowing the right amount of gas in. 3) fuel lines may be slightly plugged from old gas.

If you feel comfortable tinkering with it, give it a shot. If not you can try spraying carb cleaner into it and see if there is just a little that will clean it out.

For next spring. Take your blower and turn the gas off, then start it and let it run itself out of gas. Better than even messing with a gas stabilizer.

Following my own wifey advice...if you're coughing so hard you nearly puke, probably time to see the doc.

That about happened to me in the HS drop off lane this morning. The 4yr old was helpful from the backseat--"Mom, could you not cough like that anymore?!"

Friday I volunteered in preschool. We had one little guy that was white as a sheet and shivering. Took him to the nurse--no temp. Put on his coat, he was still shivering and could not stop. Had nurse take his temp again, was starting to climb. He got a free pass home. Saturday morning I had to wake up at 5am to get people off to volleyball. Went back to bed and couldn't get warm even with a sweatshirt/all the blankets. Happened again later in the day. Felt chills on and off all weekend. Texted the teacher yesterday to see what our little friend had--tested positive for Influenza A along with another kiddo in class. If I did catch the flu, it has presented itself fairly mildly. Debating on that or just a cold. Fun times.
