Iowa's on TV right now and you're one a cyclone message board.
I don’t have a problem with the final call, but I do have a problem with those no calls in the endzone. Two, and at worst 1, of those was a blatant PI. If they are going to call us twice on OSU’s 2 pt conversions, call it our way too. I don’t ask for much, but I do ask for consistent officiating.
Yeah, my tone is changing too. I initially thought it was an INT, but after seeing some gifs, it doesn’t look like the OSU guy ever had a hand on the ball. Marchie trapped the ball against the OSU guys body and then when they rolled, Marchie had possession. It looked like the OSU guy came down with it, but Marchie had the ball trapped and the OSU guy had his hands on top of Marchie’s hands, not the ball.
To me it looked like they both had 1 hand on the ball. I don't think OSU had two hands on it until they were out of boundsDoes it matter if offensive player has one hand on it and defensive has 2 hands?
Here's the order I saw:
1. Pass interference on OK State if it were called consistently (not reviewable)
2. They get two hands on it simultaneously as we get one hand on it.
3. Players come down in that position.
4. ISU player comes up with ball in bounds.
Does anybody dispute that's the general order of things? The one thing we don't see at all is any "process of a catch" from an OK State player. The only process being completed is by Murdock. It looks like an interception to me but "process" kind of has the result just slightly in question.
When does the oSu DB have sole possession?
When does the oSu DB have sole possession?
I thought the same thing about the time, but we could have held to a FG there.Honestly at that point I was glad for us to get the time. It was another blown call late but a few first downs and a field goal and we don't even get the ball back like we did.
Based off that rule, it should of been called a TD on the field. I'm assuming replay can correct that, and instead they confirmed the int. That's maddening honestly.
Where are you seeing OSU guy with TWO hands?! Please provide an image, because I think your're seeing things.Does it matter if offensive player has one hand on it and defensive has 2 hands?

He really doesn't ever have sole possession and he definitely never completes any process whatsoever.
