I thought the column was our game with Drake with Criner as coach. Now that was the worst loss in school history.

I think she fell into the trap, thinking that Jacob Park was the be-all, end-all difference maker on this team (she's not the only one down in that hole). He is a difference maker, but we have players all over the field, and I think every single one of them elevated their games and executed (including a legendary game from Kempt).
May favorite part is that not a single ounce of credit was given to ISU.

I'll say <5.
Difference between 1991 (when OU losing streak started) and now is we finally have a school administration that gives all available resources to our athletic department. It is quite embrassing how bad our administrative support was to the athletic department in the 90s and early 2000s. If you think it is another 27 years before ISU beats OU again you are sadly mistaken.May favorite part is that not a single ounce of credit was given to ISU.

If I remember correctly, Jenni was the one who provokedy Gundy into his "I'm a man, I'm 40 rant"
Well bloated Chip Kelly also said this was more damaging to CFP hopes than OSUs loss to VT saying that was a good Virginia Tech team. No it wasn't. 6-7 in an ACC that had FSU, Clemson but little else. At the time it was mental gymnastics to get OSU in the CFP, and they are already going to work to try to make it happen again.
That and life is easier when you just accept that a good portion of college football talking heads know less than random message board posters.
Didn't read article, but can of agree with the headline. They were cruising to the CFP.
Losing at home to a team with zero brand name, as 30 point favorites, with your senior Heisman-hopeful QB? That's gonna sting.
The can console themselves a bit in that we probably gave Okie Lite THEIR worst loss ever too...

And they had an inside track to the playoff, it was at home, and Iowa State was playing with a third-string QB. I can definitely see how this is their worst lossIn the ESPN history, no team that was a 30.5 favorite has lost - yes, it's the worst loss in the ESPN point-spread history.
And get them at home every other year. Yes, I realize our last two wins are in Norman.Difference between 1991 (when OU losing streak started) and now is we finally have a school administration that gives all available resources to our athletic department. **** Finebaum. We played close last year with this staff. We will be better next year most likely so their trip to Ames isnt a gimme either.
