Well that all sucks Rulzzz. Hope you are doing better soon I think the tea bag compress is how husband finally rid himself of his stye on the eye.

May not help a young person like you, but my joints have all felt much better with routine of lots of stretching, yoga, and light weight work. I walk, but never run on a hard surface due to previous sports injuries, so swim, exercise bike, or Nordic track for cardio. Don't do a lot of weight work on legs, but I think lunges are pretty helpful and may help the back too. Between back, knee, and ankle, stretching and light yoga may be a place to start to try and strengthen these areas, although there are probably some physiotherapy experts out there that might be able to give you better advice for preventative measures you can take with your injuries in mind.
My chiro recommended lunges for back problems. Said it helps strengthen your core.

You'll be okay -- I eat moldy **** all the time, and NO not on purpose (although I have trimmed it off of cheese to get to the good stuff). Figure I'm just getting ready for the zombie apocalypse -- toughen that gut up!

Yeah, I'll tear the moldy parts off bread and eat it, much to the chagrin of the Vixen. She thinks I'm pretty grotesque.

I totally get why you rated it that. Just about to turn 37, and it's discouraging to have all these issues already. My weight is a large part of it, but if your in no condition to walk / run getting on a treadmill right now is not really a possibility. Might look into the yoga thing, I assume there are options for this in the Ames area?
You could probably find yoga exercises on line. Be cheaper and you could go at your own pace.

Been considering trying yoga for awhile now, not sure how to start. If anyone has experience with a particular discipline (you all know I'm not a spring chicken), I'd appreciate any input. From what I've read and heard, it can be equally important for your mind as well.

Most people wearing yoga pants aren't doing yoga, but I'm fine seeing Rulzzz in anything if it helps him with his pain. And I usually do yoga in my Cyclone gym shorts unless it's cold, sometimes sweats, occasionally my one pair of yoga pants, but I don't leave the house in those.

Agree but still recommend some ISU sweats for Rulzzz. ;)

Well, that was interesting. I finished early with my customer today, so I came home to do some remote work for another customer. When I got home, there was a card in the door with "Please call me" written on the back. The card belonged to a detective from the local P.D.

A month or so ago, my daughter told me about a girl at school that had her nude photos posted to her Snapchat by someone else. Well now apparently the police are involved and want to talk to DD because they got her name off of the phone of some kid they've already talked to.

I guess John Hughes had the suburbs pegged after all. Things really are that crazy here. Anyone in here ever deal with something remotely like this?

Nope, I got nothing on this, keep us informed how it all turns out.

My first class was called prenatal lol, but it also helped after giving birth and trying to get stuff back where it belonged. I wouldn't get too caught up on styles, I think hatha may be a catch-all for classic postures and breathing exercises. And I'm not really meditating or doing any deep thinking when I do my yoga, but more an extension of stretching and weight work and strengthening certain areas.

Our Parks & Rec has Over 50 Yoga and Gentle Yoga, I think both aimed at people just starting out and trying to regain mobility and flexibility.

I'm guessing based on your goals, you can maybe find a video on Amazon or somewhere online and take a look at the reviews and see if the people have similar goals as yours and how they think the video helped or didn't help them. Also a lot of gyms will have yoga classes and if you are a member, you could probably ask about appropriate classes for beginners.

One of sons dated a zumba instructor for a while, zumba gold was pretty easy. Sons have to lifeguard during aqua zumba in the summer.

Ugh. I think there was some suggestive pictures being sent/snapped last year but it was willingly by the girl who was doing it. I never heard much about it because it wasn't the crowd she runs with and she is usually pretty clueless about those things. Good luck, I'm sure it is a little scary for her to be interviewed.

I'm definitely going to talk to her first and make sure I have the whole entire story, before I let the cops talk to her. I trust her, she's a great girl, and I assume that she wouldn't have told me anything about it if she had done something she wasn't proud of.

But there's no way I'm exposing my girl to legal danger if there's even a hint that her status could change from witness to suspect.

I think they dropped the charges against the 14 year old in Knoxville who did this. They did pass a new revenge porn law in Iowa that sounds maybe more like the investigation for harimad's DD.

Oddly enough, this was (mildly) a topic of conversation here today. Z and I were messing around with the camera, and she takes a million pics per second.

It was time to head for the potty, so I told her pics stop at the bathroom door. Nothing good comes from pics in the bathroom.

I walked away for a sec to get something. She took a step into the room, took a pic of the wall, and moved on with life. It's sort of a win.

Just took my son out to the Mexican joint up town since he's been doing well and in a good mood. I don't know if its that or the moldy bread but I have been to the bathroom 6-7 times in the last two hours, and Im not exaggerating. This blows, literally.

I'm a bit.......over cautious reading stuff like this. Before calling the detective back I'd have a sitdown with DD and make sure you know the full story and any potential involvement on her part. Maybe one of our lawyer friends can comment.

I believe this is too much information. @CloneLawman can we have a ruling?
