Retired guy is "working" harder than you employed people who spend you days on CF.

Much shopping (internet and in person browsing) for vanity, vanity light, mirror, toilet, towel rack, grab bars, towel bars, tp holder, tile, grout..............

I wish CG lived in the Twins, would hire her to do this. Biggest problem I have is I like contemporary and it's just not most peoples thing. I thought every single piece at the Tile Shop sucked. Found some cool stuff at a independent tile place that contractor will not like, but my choice. Also, finding a contemporary vanity that is not a an overpriced Chinese internet piece of junk is almost impossible.
All the redecorating going on around us is old barnwood and industrial-type stuff. We recently put shelves up in our bathroom that consisted of thick, brown weathered barn wood supported by black iron piping. It looks kind of cool but who the heck thinks up these trends.

do you need a super passive aggressive reply? Cause I'm great at those for these situations.
Super passive aggressive? It sounds like she already moved to Minnesota.

Not exactly sure.

Wish I would have seen this coming when our old barn collapsed 10 years ago and we tore another down just a few years ago. Could've gotten paid something.

Maybe he just hired the right maid service. (JC I'm trusting you to find the appropriate gif.)

I know it's Big Bang Theory but it still makes for a pretty good gif.

After last night's tennis meet, we went to the high school volleyball match. They play Sweet Caroline after the 2nd set is won. Over the last few years, we've been to about a dozen of their matches and they've never lost when we've been to a match at home. I think this means it's more than just anecdotal evidence that Sweet Caroline does not cause losses.

They also play Jump Around but I think that's because our high school seems to be becoming a farm system for Wisconsin volleyball.

Hoping for the sake of anyone who was eating she wouldn't be an asset on our defensive line.

I could never do keto cause I couldn't give up most fruit. But I thought harimad connected this to cleavage somehow? Not sure how that would help since boobs are mostly fat? Maybe getting your energy from fat sources?

I'm gonna hit catatonic before ketosis cause I'm not giving up apples and bananas (and pie).

No, the keto is my last resort to lose what's left of my tummy. I'm lean everywhere but there. That padding just refuses to go away. I honestly worry at this point if I'm just cursed with loose skin. But I've been at this weight plateau for about seven months now. I've got to bust through somehow. The final last resort is extended fasting (the longest I've ever fasted before is four days, and I love food too much to think about trying to fast for a couple weeks.)

I can always get a boob job. I'm never going to pay for a tummy tuck. :p

I mean, I'm all about loving who you want to love, but as a straight male, I don't see what my end goal would be in sending one to a dude.

Wait. So are you saying that when I reciprocate with a dikpik to some dude's unsolicited sending of one to me, that they aren't going to enjoy it? And here all this time I thought I was doing a good thing!

Seriously. I get that I'm old and modern dating is still strange to me, but why do guys think that I want to receive one of these within 10 minutes of giving my phone number to them?

That seems really weird to me. Unless it's Pants and then it's totally normal. Also, his images won't take up much of your phone's memory.

If you get a good enough boob job, it will cover the tummy. :D

Barnwood was a hot commodity in the 70's. I guess that died and came back. All things do.

@CloneinWDSM I refuse to post in the Cardinals thread (that thread is worse than the interstate rivals thread), but Yadi calls all his own games. In reading Matheny's book he talks about letting catcher's call their own games at a young age and I remember thinking, "my daughter would never be able to do that" but now at 14 she prefers to call her games. Probably a lot longer answer than you are looking for, but I could go on and on about how Yadi approaches the game. I'll spare all you non-Cardinals fans. :p From Matheny:
As a player, the most frequently asked question that I received from fans, was "When you are looking into the dugout, is Tony (LaRussa) calling your pitches?" I get the same question in regards to Yadi still today, and the answer is a very clear "Of course not." There is no way that I could ever have a better sense of the game, or see the subtle things that only a catcher could see, from the dugout

I never once had Hall of Fame manager Tony LaRussa call a pitch for me, nor have I ever called one for Yadi...and I never will. We do, however, talk about pitch selection every single day, and we are always learning and challenging ourselves to be better at it. Help your kids, no matter how young or old, do the same.

My son was calling the pitches when he finally started. Pitchers were so bad that what they actually threw was a surprise even to them. Don't need to worry about that anymore though.

Well there will be at least 350+ fans in Cardinal and Gold at the football game. Akron invited our band to come, so they loaded up 7 buses and headed east.

When we were in band, we were operating on a shoestring budget (that is what happens when your team sucks). We almost got ourselves "fired" because we made fun of the football team.
