Not exactly sure.
I'll have to check the Official Kickball Rule Book, but I'm not sure if that's actually considered "kicking".

That's like saying someone retired to their basement study when, in actuality, they just fell down the stairs.
I checked, it's official. Has to be below the hip.

The internet is making car buying easier and more frustrating at the same time. How hard is it to have a decent freaking website (I am looking at you Wilson Toyota with that annoying sidebar).

Except the guys are there to collect the tax on what you've won, immediately as you leave the studio. True story.

Probably better for everyone involved. Get it then instead of them blowing $210k and then getting the notice they owe tens of thousands to taxes.

Woman just won 210k on price is right. That'd be nice.
How did they win that much? Did they raise what you can win in Plinko? That's the only game I remember that you can win serious cash.
When we went to school on double sessions back in the 70's for a couple of years I didn't start school until 1pm so I watched the Price is Right every morning. I knew the price to pretty much everything. My best was when I came within $5 on the showcase.

Cliffhanger game. She was only off 4 bucks on all the items. Started at 250 and lost 10k for every buck off.

I find commercials for "Tru Car" to be funny. Go onto this app that works with the car companies to give you the best deal. The best deal for who?
MSRP - $25,0000
Tru Car price - $24,799

That's a lot different than the Cliffhanger game I last saw. Usually it was a car if you didn't fall off the cliff.

It's on CBS Sports Network at 1100. From a quick google search, possibly 221 ?

Should probably clarify the dislike is because give the man his whiskey!
My father (93) was taking meds for his heart (he survived a heart attack about 25 years ago). Due to new meds he has to take, they switched up the heart meds a couple of yeas ago to reduce interactions. Finally figured out that the heart meds were accelerating his mental issues, making him confused, angry, and belligerent. In discussions with his doctors, my sister (with our agreement) took him off the heart meds. It just seems better to let him enjoy his remaining time; he's too frail physically to get out & be active. He's in an apartment in a seniors facility (with meals). The place is populated with WWII & Korea vets, mostly Aggies. He's pretty happy now. :)

There's so much to love here.

First, what does kickball practice look like? I envision that it looks like recess.

Second, congrats for having your own kickball. You should totes autograph it

Third, nice job cheating. If you're not first, you're last.

Fourth, I love your description of your friend's kick as "perilous". I can only assume you were fearing for someone's life as you stood on third base while your teammates were imploring you to run.

Fifth, great suspense overall. I stayed with the update all the way to the end. Solid stuff as usual.

First - we had four newbies this year and they wanted to try kicking and catching a few times

Second - I definitely put my last name on it before I left the house. We actually got it last year. I've probably mentioned in the past how I practice by throwing the ball as high as I can and then try to catch it

Third - solid life motto, I think
Fourth - I can't remember now, but it was either a pop up or looked like it was going foul so I didn't want to leave my base yet.

Fifth - thank you. DH did a good job and the way it played out was indeed suspenseful!

I would fully endorse that. So many meds being pumped into people. JFC, going through some of the stuff they were giving my mother when she was basically in a vegetative state was pretty stupid. We did have a sit down about that and got some of them deleted.

BTW, it does not appear my sister and BIL are letting go of the "you haven't done enough to help even though you been under the weather most of the summer and it's a 300 mile drive down for you with hotels for every night" mantra. It's starting to get really really really old. After this is all done with I guessing we are going to be somewhat estranged which will be unusual for estate stuff because I don't want any of the stuff and don't care that much about the money from the house etc. Just do whatever you want and get it over with and leave me alone. :(

Second year in a row I've gotten a noon invite to my mom's bday party being held the same night. At least this one isn't a work night, I suppose.

Price is Right is a little behind. Son has it on as I check on him. Girl on stage starts yelling Hillary several times. That is getting close to a year ago.
If they're really far behind and have a Bob Barker hosted episode and a tall, blond girl with a St. Cloud State sweatshirt and a fantastic early 90's hairdo is on the show, that's probably Mrs. JCyclonee.
