Curious of the details....two times? Did he find something worth a lot he thought was easy to steal...on separate occasions?
I clearly don't know details or know Jake....but amazing how close he was to the league...but how quick that can go away. I remember when he was the "bigger deal" when comparing to AJ Klein.

Did he personally steal from you? You seem excessively angry about this.
As far as the whole situation goes, its obviously sad. He'll have to pay the price for what he did and hopefully after he does he can straighten his life out. This is obviously not an excuse, but he did have injury problems and it makes me wonder how he dealt with those things and maybe he did not handle it in a healthy way.

Same here. CTE does some wicked stuff (like going to Sportsman Warehouse). He seemed like a stand up guy during his time here. I dont want to blame every bad thing that happens to a football player on CTE, but Im OK wondering if it is in this case.
His last post before starting this thread was calling Monte just above average without Niang
I think opiate addiction would be more consistent with theft. Dude played through some serious pain. I'm sure he got some potent prescriptions.
Perfectly understand thinking that. It's a scary thought. Jake was always a hard hitter. It would certainly explain the goofy behavior that I don't believe would have happened a few years prior.
So he's basically an *******. Good to know.
Whatever the reason, I hope Jake can get the help he needs and turn his life around.
