So remember how I said that my SIL and BIL were moving to Orlando? Well a month ago they went down and he got a job at some contracted outside sales company for DirecTV. So a week ago they drove down with all of their stuff with a couple of leads on apartments. Their story was that they couldn't get one until they were down there or something like that. I am not entirely sure what all transpired last week but fast forward to Saturday morning and their first option had fallen through and their second option would only accept a money order. His bank however would not authorize the money order. One thing lead to another and they decided to just come back despite neither of them having jobs up here anymore.

Dude, if I would have known, I would have not let the camper get destroyed in the trailer race and gave it to you for them.

Mid 30's it was fast enough with other riders and not knowing the hill. I don't know how fast you could go if you knew things. @VeloClone can probably give a better report on that. We did a long beautiful hill that ran a long a bluff going into Decorah, That hill might have been the chance for top speeds but when I took it there wasn't enough room in the center (too crowded) and I was afraid to go all the way to the left and run the edge (not enough room and the really fast bikers were taking that line). That Decorah bluff had less experienced riders riding their brakes too much. The next day they either had it figured out or I was with a different type of rider.
I didn't do enough hills in training to keep up with my racing friend on some of those climbs that last day so I held on as long as I could and chased on the descents. I didn't put on a lot of speed on the descents with poor visibility due to curves, but the last two were pretty good and I cranked all the way down easily touching 40 to catch him.

That is my favorite part of the state. We rode one ridge that had the most spectacular views you will get in Iowa on both your right and left. Tremendous.

so coughy tickly throat that's lasted all month, much post-nasal drip, and coughing/stuffiness at night - cancer or do I now have seasonal allergies?

Seasonal allergies/sinus issues. Been my life since I turned 30.

I'm guessing 29 & 2 months is close enough to 30. Dammit. Already deal with crap cause I apparently have a deviated septum so I pretty much only sleep on one side. Better than being dead, I suppose. Also makes me think that my two summer colds that last forever the past two July/Aug's were probably not a cold after the first week.

Do you do anything to treat it?

Yep, also had hay fever as a kid. I have tried different stuff, currently take Zyrtec (cheap Walmart version) and nothing else. I think that only knocks it down by about a third. I was also using Flonase too but that gave me terrible headaches and made me dizzy. Husband thought maybe dosing they said on label was too high for me. It did help the allergies but the side effects were worse.

Sister uses a neti pot but something about those gross me out.

Every female friend around my age developed the same problem around age 30. Weird. And mine have kicked into high gear the last week or so.

I skipped the last 40 pages to tell you that I've removed the flower wallpaper border from my purple bathroom. That is all.

When we moved in, the master bedroom looked like a Miami Vice set. Teal carpet, floral lampshades, matching floral curtains, matching floral border. The lampshades and curtains were gone within 2 days, but that border and carpet haunted us for awhile
