OFF THE RECORD PODCAST: Steve Prohm

Zoran could definitely contribute as a rotation player for the next two years. Getting one more player for the top 8 at this point of the season would be a good get. He looks athletic and probably can play 3-4 no reason to think if he average 12 pts in Conference USA coming of the bench he could give ISU ~20 minutes of Bowie type impact a game next year. Added bonus It would allow Lewis some time to adjust to the college game and take on a bigger role when ready as opposed to just throwing him into the fire.

Did some digging on ODU and they play really slow and low scoring on offense (bottom 10)

Totally different talent levels but we see a guy like Shayok in Virginia system and expect him to put up 14+ ppg for ISU in 2018-19.

NOT saying Talley would put up better/same numbers than he did at ODU but I think he could put up something like 7ppg and 2 rpg in about 17 minutes per game in Prohms system.

If staff has done research and decided he's improved on whatever issues caused him to be dismissed, I think this would be a solid pickup.

There isn't a ton of video on him, but he appears pretty athletic and versatile. I don't think he's a great shooter, but he will drive a lot off the perimeter ala Bowie, but with better handles and athleticism.

I don't see this as a Holden type flop. I think Bowie is a more realistic comparison in terms of production.

Too bad he doesn't spell his name this way. Years and years of Blimp Images.

That would give us 10 scholarship players next season, 8 of which seem like solid or better contributors and not projects. The 2 I am not sure about and haven't seen enough yet is Lard and Long. Brase's progress is less of a concern after Steve's comments in the podcast. 7-8 is all we need, just need to be "good enough" in the non-con to avoid bad losses until the team gels. I trust Prohm to be able to get them to gel based on the past 2 seasons.

What did Steve say about Brase in the podcast? Sorry, too busy to listen anytime soon.

Anybody else catch the snicker from Prohm when CW mentioned the Cap City League? I wish that he had actually said what he thinks about it.

Only wrong if you made an agreement not to tell anyone what your read.
Hint: whether you realize it or not, we all made that agreement when we signed up for CF...it's in the site rules: https://cyclonefanatic.com/forum/threads/updated-cf-site-rules-please-read.92733/

Rule #1 doesn't apply to the cave, right?
Rule #3 never stood a chance (ok,racism and sexism - yes, but clean and appropriate?)
Rule #4 doesn't apply to any thread with more than 4 posts
Rule #6 would completely eliminate a few posters and leave Cytwins without anyone to play with
