Pretty sure somebody put the name in this thread. It's sort of in code, though.
If it's the player I don't know it is, people are going to be somewhat excited, somewhat stupefied, and have an urge to get really drunk.
No idea who everyone's talking about...one other thing I liked about this Podcast is I didn't get the sense from Prohm that he's planning on some sort of down trodden season.
Everybody on here is hyping this guy up way too much. He will certainly help, but hes not going to suddenly make us an NCAA team.
Agree. In my opinion though, he's a better player than Holden, Kasongo (duh) Carter, Ernst and maybe Bowie.
Very impressive, but the people who pay over at 247 don't want to leak info they are paying to get as well. They want to tease us peasants who enjoy our free content lol. It's comparable to teasing a dog by putting a delicious bone 2 inches out of reach of the dog and watching it do everything to try and get the bone but ultimately fail.
No doubt, I completely agree. I understand we are all thirsty for some good recruiting news here soon
Except the dog can't pay $9.99 a month to get the bone. Anyone wanting the 247 info can.
I really don't understand this premium info stuff. If I buy a magazine is it wrong for me to tell you what is in it?
I used to be where you are at, a couple of years ago. I was annoyed by all of the premium members who teased us with their "special knowledge". But then I realized, "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em". So I joined Scout, then switched to 247 (followed Alex there), and I'm so glad I did. It has been totally worth every penny.
My complete shot in the dark (not a subscriber to any pay sites or anything) is Zoran Talley from Old Dominion. 6'7" SF. Conference USA Sixth Man of the Year this past year.
This is based on the fact that Neill Berry follows him, his mom, and his old prep school coach on Twitter, he would have two years (I think) to play, and the fact that Talley was dismissed from ODU in April for a "violation of team rules". He has also been suspended a couple of other times - no idea what for. Could those be the academic issues that Chris has hinted at?
I could be way off base here, but figured I would at least throw a little speculation out there.
