That Lyle situation is a strange one, public intoxication was the charge no idea why anyone would think its ok to pound on a hood of a police car with the police nearby though. He left the team but there was no word about wanting to transfer either. Crazy about a top 5 class breaking completely apart after 2 seasons and not in a good way (turning pro), something seems off at OSU right now. If there werent red flags around him he'd be a big time pick up for a school.

I saw a post on one of the other threads:

Any news on Brandon Goodwin? - Recently at FGCU, (originally with UCF) - declared for the NBA draft w/o an agent. Averaged 18.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.1 apg last year with 35% 3 point shooting. Recruited by Murray St (Prohm?) in the past.

Brandon Goodwin is expected to return to Florida Gulf Coast next season, per a source. Entered 2017 NBA Draft without an agent.

Why are so many players transfer from Northridge? Didn't they have another one transfer out recently?

I believe Kendall Smith-- last I knew he was visiting Okie St.

They are getting a guy from Creighton transferring in.

Not sure as to why so many have left, though.

A friend grew up in Northridge. He says the hills around there are basically the center of the pron universe. Maybe the pron industry is taking a hit and the Northridge economy is suffering.

I can't comment on the pron industry, but, A kid I played AAU ball with plays for CSUN and he was arrested in high school for robbery with a deadly weapon. That is all.

Coleby out from KU... if Svi stays in the draft, KU will only be returning 4 players, just like Iowa State.

KU recruiting rankings - 247 sports - #34
ISU recruiting rankings - 247 sports - #30

yet, KU is the prohibitive favorite in the big 12, and ISU potentially picked in bottom 3rd. KU is returning a better core, but it's still an interesting thought. Don't get me wrong, they've earned it, with their current streak... just like finding random facts to give me hope in the slow offseason.

And to that point:

Right now TCU (#33), ISU (#30), OU (#28), TEX (#7), all have a better recruiting ranking than Kansas (#34), according to 247 sports.

What happened is that Chatsworth started giving tax breaks to lure a lot of the filmmakers out of Northridge and it really hurt Northridge's economy.
