Broke through my writer's block. Therefore, I got to spend the last couple hours writing about various ways slave children committed suicide. Winning?

Good point.
I'm good. I got to move on to bloodhounds ripping the flesh off of fugitive slaves.
No offense Eric. You seem like a great guy, but I'm not planning on reading your dissertation.

No need for me to do so, I just watched Django Unchained. Hadn't caught it till now and I generally like Tarantino movies.

Pretty sure it was accurate and historically researched.

Well, maybe just the dog scene.

I hope you spend at least three hours a day watching videos of kittens or something. Or just playing with Z, I suppose.
I know this person that could supply him with a kitten...
He's bigger than all of the adult cats, but he's only 9 months old so technically he's still a kitten.....could YOU resist this face?

last night we were ordering tickets for a play in London and DH is like come here and look at this.

It's asking for name, address, all that jazz. Asks for title - you know, like Mrs. Miss, etc. Except it's English so it's got like, Prince, Viscount, Sir, Earl, Countess - the whole nine yards!

DH did not take my suggestions and pretend to be a Duke :(

The Duke of PS4 and Duchess of Cybercows?

well that was interesting. Got a very real looking email from State Farm about a claim we are involved in that occurred on Sunday. Claimant is no one I recognize. Start racking my brain and try to decide if it's a sophisticated scam. We did leave the house Sunday - got home about 12:30 from the game and then went to brunch. Don't remember getting into any accidents though. Google says the phone number is State Farm, so I call.

Brings up the claim number and she's like it's for an auto accident that occurred 5am on Sunday. I start to laugh and say well unless they damaged our property, we were in bed. Where did this even happen?

Maryland.

ok, email mistake confirmed. Though I did ask DH if he decided to hightail it to Maryland without me knowing. And in record time. He's like yep, I got on a plane.

I picture grad students reading in a seminar, which would actually be a good fit.
The intro lures them in with a solid concept.
Chapter 1----OK, makes sense. Pretty tame (Why reach out to children?)
Chapter 2----OK, makes sense. What kids could (and did) do. OK.
Chapter 3----The religion chapter. OK, that makes sense. Getting heavy, but not bad.
Chapter 4----(The current one)------WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!?!? This is the one where the punishments, family separations, suicides, and all break loose. It's formatted differently, the content is different, and my profs all cringe a little when they hear what's coming.

Chapter 5---What? It all fell apart? Um, didn't see that coming, I guess.

It'll be a fun read. Just bring tissue for chapter 4.

We'll have bison sloppy Joes this weekend at our fish fry and wild game feed for the Spina Bifida kids. 4:30 - 8:00 pm Saturday at the VFW at 90th and Fort. I'm smoking ducks for it as well. We should have some wild boar as well, I'm just not sure how it is being prepared. Most likely smoked also.

Dang it if I didn't have to work this weekend. I'd drive over to that it sounds fun and really good. I like trying dishes that I usually don't get to have.

Watched a video this morning - this was the next up. Boxster & Great might recognize it, but I did a double-take at the guest star:

So I'm not recognizing either the man or the woman. The clip was darn funny though. Don't see Night Court much in reruns but it was I enjoyed it when it was on.

Velo is catching up on the last 14 pages. :D
Yep, but I should be catching up on work since my hard drive crashed and I was operationally challenged for the better part of a week. No hurry though, I just leave for vacation tomorrow afternoon.

Just a couple of last things I seem to be terrible about procrastinating on...

Brent Spiner best known for playing Data on Star Trek the Next Generation. Was also the crazy doctor at the secret government base in Independence Day who ended up being the mouth for the alien after his untimely demise. (Spoiler?) He was also a broadway actor. I believe he was actually in the original cast of some well known play but I can't remember what it was. I just remember seeing his name on the original cast list of some script back in college.
