Bruce Weber Postgame

As long as Bruce is going to complain about the missed goal tend call, I have a couple questions about calls that ISU didn't get after that.

1. KSU takes a shot that bounces off rim and then bounces flat on the top edge of the backboard. I thought the ball was in play if it hit an edge but as soon as it hit square on the top - which it did since it ultimately came down a little behind the board - or passed over the back board it was out of bounds. KSU gets the rebound and lays it in. What am I missing here?

2. Monte takes a shot that leaves his hand with over a second left on the shot clock and wedges between rim and backboard with about 1 second left on shot clock. First it is ruled a jump ball which would give it to KSU. Then they change it to a shot clock violation and award the ball to KSU letting them keep the alternate possession arrow. I have seen shots blocked by the bottom of the rim that reset the shot clock. Why would this be a violation?

I think we were getting pretty loud at the end, but that was only because it was so quiet in there.

But this is funny coming from a guy that during road games, will stomp his foot when the home team is shooting free throws. Never seen anything like it. He's a desparate man.

One of my favorite parts of the game last night was when Gene Keady said the best thing about Bruce was his organization. Not his leadership or basketball IQ, but the fact he was always on time. He basically called him the best manager he's ever had.

There was a play in the first half when the K-State defender knocked the ball away from Thomas and they were right in front of the Mouth Breather. He was clapping his hands like he lost all bodily control right up in Matt's face. I thought it was pretty ****** on his part but what else is new, he's a dirt bag.

No one holds a candle to Niang in the trash talk category.

This is completely different. Niang took trash talk to an art form, and not just on the court. He is still blowing people up on twitter. Dude could take over for a late night show host when he is done with his pro career... and coaching at ISU.....

(1) I thought Burton got a piece of that and knocked it off target to hit the backboard.

(2) In the end, I thought for sure that the refs corrected it and changed the possession arrow to ISU.

I thought the most egregious miss (on ISU side of ledger) was when Monte had an open lane to basket, clearly got bodied on his way to rim enough to cause him to miss layup, and no foul call plus missed basket.
