Trae Young

OU has one more down year and then they'll be loaded. Their young talent is as good as anyone in the league.
I think they'll need an upgrade at post to help Latin next year, and take over after that, but I'm pretty sure Kruger is capable of finding someone. No doubt their young guards and wings have talent though.

Too bad you guys couldn't get a player like Wigginton
We already did sign a backup PG to develop in Marcus Garrett, except he's 6'5" instead of Wiggington's 6'1". So we're covered at that end of the bench, thanks.

Yeah we recruited him too, he's good, not Wigginton good but he's good

Dude can gain weight.

Wigggington aint getting TALLER.
How much weight do you really want to put on a guy that's supposed to be your point guard? Trying to kill off some speed, too?

What's the benefit of having your lead ballhandler being so tall? Sounds like a recipe for steals by decent defenders to me. Four extra inches of swiping space. Mason and Morris aren't great point guards because of their height.

Really, I must be uninformed here: why is a taller point guard a good thing for his specific job?

I mean if you had the choice to be taller at any position you would take it but that doesn't mean you are better. Wigginton will be better than Garrett but Garrett is a solid player and we recruited him hard. He's just not as good as Wigginton

When a wing or a big closes out on a shooter, which shooter is more likely to get their shot blocked, the 6'1 guy or the 6'5 guy?

And 6'5 Tyshawn Taylor drove the lane just as much as Mason does and had WAY less percentage of his shots blocked than Mason does.

Magic Johnson at 6'2 is just another PG. At 6'9 hes one of the best ever because of his court vision. This isnt complicated.

Whats Wiggington's role for ISU next year? No idea what your roster will look like? Does he get to develop or do you need him to be really good Day One?

He needs to be really good day one. Luckily he's coming from Oak Hill so I think he will be ready. He's by far their best player right now even though Preston is a better long term prospect
