no, it was just a couple people, no follow up emails. It was necessary and good that I be there but I figured it would be less productive.

It's a subject that makes me have to restrain full Boxster. Some bad stuff happened to a couple of alumna friends of mine. It rapidly becomes personal to me when this comes up as a topic on CF. I have to step away to keep from getting banned.

It's basically the official holiday party but has to include business like the year end speech and some awards (guys back from deploying in Afghanistan, a whole slew of folks who spent months down in Louisiana on housing mission after the floods). Anyway, since we were not at the district office, I noticed we had a St. Paul police officer for security. Heard we had some protesters recently that included some folks who tried to breach our security. Office has been on lock-down more then normal. Some of the people trying to get past security have reputations as not always wanting to keep things peaceful like most of the other protesters. And of course they are protesting something that isn't even within the jurisdiction of my old office but we are more conveniently located

I know we have complained about the lady Gaga song during basketball games but I am really sick of the song that plays for Coke commercials.
 
Going to have chicken, wine and pie tonight. Need to maybe eat moar. Went to Lifetime for the first time since late last winter to test the torn rotator cuff (will see how that feels in the morning). Haven't stepped on scale since last time in there. I don't own a scale. Lost 8 pounds. Something something biking something running again. Thought I looked a little leaner even then my normal leanness. Definitely room for pie.

I was a bit sad to not go exercise tonight due to overlong meeting. Ended at 5.30.

Now a bit thankful since Z's tired. More time with her before bed
 
So I found out that for one of the two positions it is down to me and other candidate who I am 99% sure is a co-worker of mine. Tie breaker interview is Monday afternoon.
