Think old western style underwear, kinda hippie chic in the '60's and '70's. All this has me thinking back to how perplexed my parental units were with the dress, hair (oh, lord, especially the hair!) and music. Oddly enough my elderly grandmother, born in the 1890's, got it or at least went with the flow. I had a couple pair of bell bottom jeans that shrunk and she sewed on this crazy patterned colorful cloth on the bottom to extend the inseam again. Custom hippie!
