My boss is giving a presentation to his son's class on Monday about telescopes (one of his hobbies) and I just heard him say, "I'm going to bring a laser pointer and tell them not to shine them at airplanes." I mean he isn't wrong...
is that what I need? Cause I'm getting dangerously low on kleenex at my desk. And I'm here til at least four.
That's about all I take anymore for colds. It doesn't really help with achy body parts but clears up my sinuses really well. Also Nyquil gives me funny dreams.
I took nyquil for the first time in many years last week and it didn't do **** for me
Dayquil probably won't help then, it does wonders for me, sorry. Although maybe it works so well since it knocks me out, perhaps you have a higher tolerance for that ingredient?
Dh said I was probably immune to the alcohol.
It's odd because I had a bad reaction to it (nyquil) as a kid which is why I hadn't used it in so long. Took a half dose, 3/4, and then full on successive nights and didn't notice a difference. Was up a bunch of times all three nights. I figured I'd at least get some placebo effect just from being scared to take it the first night.
My friend swears by Lukas Liquors here in KC. If you are around the Shawnee area, K7 Liquors is in my backyard and is really good. They will order whatever you want.

I had a scary occurrence last night. I was eating dinner and something got lodged in my throat. I was full-on panicking because I couldn't breath at all. My wife was still at work so it was just Talia and me and I was trying like hell not to freak her out. I ended up having to do the model thing to, uh, "purge" my system.
That was a first for me and I wasn't a fan at all. It wasn't like I took a humongous bite of something either. It was almost like I had an allergic reaction to something and my throat closed up.

I may try that in the future now that I know the cough syrup doesn't seem to have an effect.

nope, throat is fine. Just a nose faucet. My voice has progressed from emphysema ridden 85yr old to sultry 50's film actress so I've got that going for me.
