You don't seem to understand how the internet works. Or sports, for that matter. Before the game, during the game, it's trash talk. Little ******* that don't show up until after the game is over are just that...little *******.
**** Iowa fans.

Except herkster. He had the balls to be here BEFORE the game. I'll take the "**** ISU" from him.

Hard to win on the road in this series, only Fred Hoiberg has done it since 2003. Here's hoping for a Fran contract extension.

Nobody likes to be kicked when they're down, and I won't do it to any of you. I will say that it's kinda nice to be on the right side of these "nobody saw this coming" upsets for once in this rivalry.

You know who has it worse than us right now? Those Hawkeye fans that bet big against the Hawks. There are a couple in my office right now that feel really bad about themselves. I even warned them not to do it.

1st rule of betting on sports - don't bet on a game involving your team. Having said that, although I'm not a betting person, I would have bet big against Iowa last night when I saw it was +6 (I think). Real big.

Agree. Emotional betting can be brutal. I took ISU on an "easy" bet one time because I thought there was no way they could lose and it sucked. Luckily it was low dollar. I learned that that was a bad idea.

Ha! It was merely a play on your **** Iowa, but you know that. I'd say good game, but it really wasn't. ISU looked like ****, and that surprised me. Awfully hard to score when you don't try to utilize any inside presence, and just pass the ball around 25' from the hoop. Honestly, I lost a bet on the game, but it wasn't anything sizeable. Just a fun one between friends.

Yup - I knew that. And I agree - it WASN'T a good game, at least not for ISU. Defense was bad, they let your guys run down & pop up shots all night. Shooting was horrible.

Worst of all though was the team that called the game. I absolutely despise watching anything produced by BTN...there is absolutely NO effort to go past 2-3 talking points on opposing teams that are non-B1G. And I swear one of those dudes had a hard-on for a couple of the Hawks - Jok & one other. He disagreed with every call on them. I think Jok could have punched Monte in the face and that announcer would have said Monte shouldn't have put his face in front of Jok's fist...

First rule of betting on sports - don't bet on sports - especially college basketball

See, I knew there was benefits of having two kids run around, screaming and playing, while the game was on. I didn't hear much of the commentary, and during the 2nd half, while they were sleeping, I must have zoned it out.

ISU played poorly, you are absolutely correct. They need a post presence, or learn to swing the ball a bit more than they currently do. High post pick and rolls worked with Niang, but they aren't working now, especially when your PG doesn't want to dish it to the rolling post player.
