***Iowa postgame thread***

Iowa is flat out garbage, giving up about 90 a game, and we can't score against them. Just an embarrassment.

Iowa will go on to have a horrible year, mark it down. ISU can be pretty good if they want to, we'll see if they want it or not? Tonight they obviously didn't want it or didn't care. Looked like both.

Not about last week or next week, it was the game that was played tonight that counts and the Cyclones failed in all aspects. Don't beat your chest about how bad your going to handle somebody going into their house, comes back to haunt you. Cyclones a better team most nights, just not tonight.

OMG our team can't score and you want to talk about defense and rebounding.
Not talking about this team you were talking about the Kane/Niang/Ejim team. and about how Ejim sucked and didn't deserve B12 POY because he wasn't as talented as Kane or Niang.

The start to this season reminds me of pre-conference 2012-13.

Interpret that as you see fit.

There's even coincidental overlap involving losses to Cincinnati (ranked) and at Iowa (NIT ceiling is probable).

I did like Solomon getting one post feed.. I knew the game was over once they put naz and burton back in after cutting it to 9

Iowa State 17-13 (8-10)
Honestly I'm not sure how CSP is not on the hot seat in 2017-18 if this season ends with a NIT bid.

Pollard shouldn't survive if both CSP and Campbell fail especially how he has held season ticket holders hostage with increased donation requirements. Not sure how many fans are going to donate 3k to sit in the balcony for a NIT program Jamie.

Well, I definitely didn't say Ejim sucked. I don't think he was as good as Kane or Niang.

Whatever, no matter how much I'm right, I get hammered regardless.

Iowa attempted 15 fewer field goals than ISU, and made 1 more basket
Iowa attempted 8 fewer 3-pointers, connected on one more than ISU
Iowa attempted 24 free throws to Iowa State’s 9
Iowa State committed 10 more fouls than Iowa
Iowa seemingly could not miss from 3 in first half.
Although Iowa State was outrebounded by only 3, when Iowa started clanking shots in 2nd half struggled to secure a board, leading to second-chancers.

With all that, it’s almost a surprise the score wasn’t more lopsided.

Back off the ledge man, not sure why you have to bring Pollard and Campbell into this thread following a MBB game. Yeah the loss sucked, but that doesn't mean the whole athletic department is suddenly going up in flames. I'm confident in where JP is leading us considering what ISU athletics looked like when he first got here.

When did kenpom say 17-13 (8-10)? I checked as soon as it updated after the game and it said 18-12 (9-9) and that is what it says now too. If it said 17-13 (8-10) it must have been for a very short period of time and then got flipped by some random game ending.

Go through and look at the individual games.

JP has made a grand total of one good hire in MBB and FB since he arrived. The masses love him but those of us that cut the $7k + check every year for donation and tickets are getting a little impatient. We have made the investment and now it is time for the return.

No Monte, the Cincinnati loss was adversity. This was a disaster.

If Prohm misses the tourney this year and next, he should be fired. No excuses.

Hoiberg left prohm with no young players and left late in the year. The lack of players is a lot on him. Maybe he should have ******* done his job.
Nice. Been 2 years since he left but you still blame him after losing to a bad Iowa team. We have the talent to beat Iowa moron. This is on Prohm.
