This thread is gold, and I'm a damn Hawk fan (if you couldn't tell). ISU is going to dominate us. it isn't going to be pretty. If any Hawk fan honestly believes differently, they are drinking a little too much of the koolaid. Hopefully a bunch of ISU fans show up so Carver will actually be loud for once.

Is this for real? I can't tell. LOL. Tripped up on the dominate part. This is a rivalry game you know..... too hard to predict, so I'm not buying it. You've played Seton Hall and Notre Dame close. Heck, Jok's scoring , Bohannon's threes, and offensive rebounding can easy keep you in the game alone. Nobody knows what will happen, nor what players show up with their 'A' game.

Seton Hall and Notre Dame weren't that good. Bohannon's 3's? The guy has had two decent shooting games, is a true freshman, and likely will have turnover problems with Morris in his face all game long. Jok? Any idea how he shot last game? 1-7 from 3, 4-13 from the field. He can be streaky, but if we are down early, he will be forcing shots and it won't end well.

And yes, this is real, no sarcasm, no backhanded ISU comments. Iowa just isn't that good, and we will be starting 2 true freshman and a redshirt freshman. Hard to be optimistic.

I think we will have some chances on the interior, and we will need to get Burton in foul trouble, and hopefully Naz keeps throwing up bricks.

I know it is the Cyclone fan in me, but things like this never seem to work out well for Iowa State. For example, Earle Bruce and the "Beat Iowa" on the ISU uniforms.

I hope he is right, however, and it turns into an epic beatdown

That's quite the jump from a comment in an article to putting "Beat Iowa" on a jersey. I wouldn't classify those two things in the same category of "these things" lol.

I see it as a senior trying to pump up his team before a game that is big (even though the opponent is having a rough year). Iowa will certainly be more focused in this game (like both teams always are).
