I am fairly good at thank you cards when needed. I had finished half or so of the baby shower thank yous when Doria died the next week. I asked my friends 3 times if it was okay not to hand them out. The funeral thank yous got hard after awhile. How personal can you be when you're writing over and over about that?

He's going to DMACC-Ames campus, and DMACC doesn't have dorms/won't let local students live in them (I don't remember which one). Also, as a resident Iowa State student, is going to DMACC and living in an apartment in Ames pretty much the same thing as being an Iowa State student?
