Yeah, I don't think that's normal (at least in the U.S.) unless you've been published a lot. But I do think it's different in other countries, so maybe he was going off of what they do in the UK?

My manager and I just did a phone interview with a candidate out in the UK. His resume was 9 pages long. I am way out of touch with resumes in the 21st century. Is this common? Does anyone actually read one that long?

That's more of a curriculum vitae and it's more common in academic settings.

How bad it is that I need to look up how to spell one of my kids' middle names? Need it for a legal document and I honestly can't remember with 100% certainty. I am only like 97% sure. If I can't find a copy of her birth certificate scanned on the computer, I am looking on FB when we announced her birth.

If you have 12 kids it's totally acceptable. Why 2/3 have family names. Easier that way.
