Yo, Chaser, the running shoe inserts I ordered late Friday were just delivered by the U.S. Postal Service.

Still weird to see Postal Service delivery on Sundays.
Did you order from Amazon? I thought they contracted the USPS for Sunday delivery and that was all they did.

Anyone know where I can get two hillside tickets for the San Jose State game? Apparently they aren't selling any single game hillsodes through the ticket office anymore

I was going to say see if you have anyone you know not using Clone Club passes. We rarely use ours for football, but they have the girls' names on them. Doubt the scanners pay much attention to that, though.

Fall softball is going a bit better than spring ball with a partially new roster. We could use a good 3rd pitcher, but don't have that. And out of our 2 good pitchers both are coming off injuries, so more than 2 games a weekend each is hard yet. Playing for the championship but something is a little suspicious about the team we are playing. Somehow over the past 2 weeks they have improved from not winning a game to winning a championship.:confused:

Called friend. On my short list of things that should not be DIY was what my friend did, trim trees on a ladder with a chainsaw. Ladder took a dive and he pitched chainsaw but broke ankle landing. I have been a lifetime Mr. DIY kinda guy but this is dangerous stuff you pay professionals to do. Less chance of property damage and personal image. Preach it, Boxster!

I will use a chain saw but I am very wary/frightened of them. I think they are incredibly dangerous. My grandfather lost his ring finger to one in the 1940's.

We have someone hold the ladder if we have to use it. Pole saw usually ensures that we don't need to.

I tie a rope between the ladder and tree, and obviously not the branch I'm cutting.
got chewed out by a parent for their son not playing enough. Kid doesn't pay attention and wanders during the game so when you turn around to see who to put in he isn't there. I was ticked that every parent whines to me and gets in my face since I'm the only one not from this town. Told him we will get him in more next game but the kid needs to pay attention and not be looking at the crowd all the time.

Nicely I walk off the field and another dad jumps me. Tells me that his kid has learned way more fundamentally from me than any of the other coaches he's had the years before. Finally nice to be jumped for a thank you than for little Jimmy getting hosed.

Wxman alert, out grilling and a couple F-somethings just buzzed low heading out from the airport. F-16's from Mn Guard? Too dark to get a good look.
