I had to get mine done twice. The second time was much worse - probably because my Urologist went "extreme plumber" on me...

Which kind did you get? Scalpel or no scalpel? I called to get one last week but all the doctors in my area do the scalpel version and it spooked me...I want as little pain as possible..
I can validate that Dr Kellerman does good work. I went golfing 2 days after he took care of me and I had very little discomfort.
Oh man. Mine was awful. I swoll up and turned black and blue. Forgive the racial stereotype, but my wife commented, "now I know what it feels like to be married to a black man". Turns out I had a reaction to the stitches. When I went back to the doc he said "you're kinda the bull on the block". Which I quickly agreed to of course.

Even if you feel normal, I would still sit back with a frozen bag of peas on your balls for a day or so. I would also play it up a little and make your wife wait on you. This is likely your only chance.
I have heard from many buddies that they felt great only to play softball the next day or coach a kids basketball game or do some other minor activity and then end up in some real pain.

Yeah, some people have a lot of pain and some have none. It's hit and miss. But the worst stories are usually those guys who thought they were fine and went out and did some physical activity the next day.
No scalpel. Mark Kellerman....Iowa Clinic WDM. Now into day 3 and can't even tell I had it done. Did over 12,000 steps yesterday.
Still no ice, pain pills, or anything.
You must know my wife. I'll bet I had to take a dozen ibuprofen all told.
