CG back with some running inspiration for the old man. Guess I have to get off my ass and go for a run in the park. Been stalling all afternoon.
Rainy day domestic stuff. Did four loads o'laundry, watched some baseball, read some Jack Reacher and fell asleep in the comfy chair. Three loads dried....waiting for the laundry fairies to fold them and put them away (also please sort the socks).
We are each other's encouragement it seems!
I saw it advertised for Tuesday. I think 9 o'clock Central time. For some reason I was thinking it was on Wednesday last week but honestly don't remember.
Car show today. Had to decide between Wilton Founder's Day or Oxford Junction.
I went to view (didn't show) last year at OJ. Decided to go for Wilton. Besides, my brother could also come to that one so we could hang out. Kind of a crappy show. Very few cars (maybe 30). To give you and idea there were 1950's Fords (2) and a 1950's Mopar (1) but ZERO 50's Chevies.
Got back home then drove up to OJ to see what was there. County road between here and there is closed so I had to detour about 12 Mi out of my way. Almost there and there's ANOTHER road (State Highway) closed. No detour signs. S is marked Dead End. So I go north - 3 miles of gravel. So glad I decided NOT to take the '55 there!

Came back another completely different route. No Roads Closed=winner!

While running I sensed a disruption in the Twin Cities Cyclone alumni force. Couldn't quite tell what it was exactly but feel it may be something significant.

Still some delicious Iowa sweet corn out there. Bought some tonight, had steak salads, corn, cantaloupe, and some really yummy rolls hubby had brought home from a work function. Made hubby a mojito with mint from the patio and I opened a bottle of red wine.

Arrived at 8 for the dinner part of the rehearsal. Only ones here. Still. Similar to the bridal shower I see. Would have been nice to know before we left.
Ken and barbie annoy me sometimes. I like fixer upper the best, even if they're Baylor fans.

Pants, it was no alcohol. Did notice that the evil grandparents were coincidentally just down the street. So I wonder if we'll get some drama tomorrow. My mom was pissed about the lateness at least. We are supposed to be there 1 for pics but she and my brother (groom) are like it'll probably be 130.
No alcohol!? On a Saturday night. Blasphemy.
