That black Bama jersey is fake I'm pretty sure. Since Saban been there he doesn't like the go away from traditional. He won't even let them have white helmets and Bama has had white helmets in the past.

I like the gold pants for both road and home, crimson jersey at home and white jersey on the road with the gold helmet and current I-state logo.

But regardless of which uniform they decide on, I would like to see them establish a uniform for home and road and wear the same uniform for every game, EVERY YEAR. In 20 years if you turn on the television and ISU is playing you instantly recognize them - like the vast majority of football power schools in college. Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma, USC and numerous others- they have the same uniforms they had when I was a kid.

Ohio State has varied there uniforms quite a bit the last year or so. I saw some highlights during the Big Ten preview and I doubt some would even know it was Ohio State unless someone told them.

Why? I think, hope we have the tapered helmet stripes now. I like them. If I liked the older traditional stripes, I would illustrate the old. But now, on w/ the new. This design I've been illustrating, is fairly simple and clean. What gives it the little bit of pizazz is the tapered helmet stripe, and the chevron 3/4 length pant stripe. Without those, it would be a VERY basic, and not very interesting design.

Why ? - Just my opinion. I appreciate your work. Also, my opinion, I'd remove the shoulder stripes from all jerseys - go with your design on the others.

Im watching a Netflix doc about judo football called Last Chance U and even they have 4 helmets and about 24 uni combos. Several comments by players about having sexy uniform combos.

Let me be clear, I am not a huge proponent of gray alternates. I'm just going down the list of possible color combos. Notice I saved Gray and Yellow for last. I'm not even sure I want to do Yellow. Does anyone want to see that (Yellow)? And if so, what combo?
