That gold-cardinal-cardinal is growing on me, despite my general aversion to jersey/pants primary-primary combos. I'd like to see it in actual game action, prototypes obviously don't always accurately reflect effectiveness.

Love it! The red & yellow is a little too bright, but otherwise this is very close to my dream uniform.

Wasn't that a Geoff Turner TD that came back due to a penalty??? I was at that game, and unfortunately I haven't been to an ISU game since.

Agree. Keep in mind also, in these illustrations, the colors aren't quite right, the red is too red, etc.
I think most know this by now but looking at the results of the Big Ten media days player survey, it is obvious what kids like in uniforms these days. Glad MC is making alt uniforms a higher priority at ISU.

Well, just coincidence I guess. Everyone, sees, likes different things. That's probably why the Athletic Dept. is not soliciting our (us at CF) input, this go around.

This is the right shade of gold and the right shade of cardinal (our current uni's have bright yellow and dark dark red). Plus a little white looks sharp too. Fast forward to the 4:33 mark for a close up.
Wouldn't it be great to have those uniforms again and a team like the 76 Cyclones again.
I like the gold pants for both road and home, crimson jersey at home and white jersey on the road with the gold helmet and current I-state logo.
But regardless of which uniform they decide on, I would like to see them establish a uniform for home and road and wear the same uniform for every game, EVERY YEAR. In 20 years if you turn on the television and ISU is playing you instantly recognize them - like the vast majority of football power schools in college. Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma, USC and numerous others- they have the same uniforms they had when I was a kid.

I just want to look like we belong there. The way it is now I feel like we wear the uniforms that were out of the discount bin at Wal-Mart.
If history is any indication six months from now the uniforms will change - again - and the current uniforms will be in the discount bin at walmart.
