Watching the ISU/Kansas Big 12 championship replay on the Cyclones network. They said "Lots of NBA franchises will be backing the truck up for Hoiberg, but I don't think he's going anywhere. He loves it here and I think he's here to stay."

I haz a sad now.

Just getting home from a long but fun day. Spent my day off today with a good friend who I don't see that often. Golfed 9 holes and as usual I sucked a big one. I'm convinced anyone on this site could beat me at golf. After a lunch we went and shot pool. Two seven game series however I suck at pool just as bad as I do at golf and lost both times 4-0. Went to Welch Ave. where I finally bested him at a game of foosball. :smile: A little red from playing golf but was worth it. I needed a day like this in the worst way.

You've never seen my golf game, never played till in my 30's then it was coming off night shift and drinking over 18 holes.

I'm not angry at him for leaving. And I love Prohm so far. But he's Fred. I loved him as our coach. He'll always be the Mayor.

Good day today till about 6pm, started to feel a little light headed, waited a bit then tried bike ride, went ok but had no rhythm, dropped off the last 3 miles that would have had the big hill in it. Lightheadedness is still coming and going hopefully sleep will fix it got a 40 mile ride scheduled for tomorrow morning.

Understand what your saying, he could have easily been coach for life at ISU, the next Johnny Orr, but he chose not to. I was really disappointed when he left, now I'm just like hope Prohm does great. My love of ISU hoops outweighs the ups and downs of the program and staffing changes. Oh well that's the life of a fan.

Caught up. I've gotten to fill in/train on doing some extra things this week at work.

Summer sun sets have definitely changed sleeping patterns for Z. She ended up taking TWO naps today for a total of three hours. She hasn't done that for a longtime.

The labor thread made me sad.

Was deciding between HBO movies last night and it was between J. World and Maze Runner the Scorch. Both got so so reviews so I was kinda all meh. J. World was at best okay. The only thing that stood out for me was the redheads haircut which was pretty cool. Watched the Scorch tonight. Better than I thought it would be or maybe not as bad as I thought it would be. It was more entertaining than J. World but cannot recommend either.
