Damn, Verizon, no way. Checked using phone in the Europe. $10 a day or a crazy month charge for crazy monthly and with crazy "overages" charges. Third option is a pay as you go. Might just do pay as you go and limit use to shooting back some photos.
Do you have charter? Was just complaining to dh that I couldn't load this on my phone and he said to turn off the wifi. Works better now.
Take a small tablet with you. The ships have wifi now. You can send pictures via the internet, the old fashioned way.
What I meant is I switched to using data and that works. Another friend do on fb in your area said it's out there and someone posted a charter outage map. Lots of red in the. Midwest. Dh has his computer set up in Google's dns server and his Internet is fine. Our WiFi goes through a charter dns server. So if you know how to change that you might get service. Don't ask me how, I'm mostly parroting words dh said

I am bringing my laptop to feed my internet addiction each evening. We'll have some time bracketing with me +7 hours and Pants -5 hours. Coverage!
Get a pay as you go and call it a burner. It'll make you feel like a spy or drug dealer or some exciting profession like that. When you're done with it, be sure to smash it and throw it in a trash bin or river when nobody is watching.
