They say if they get to 7 years they're doing really well. They just have so much that can go wrong with them. Peanut was 3 1/2, and that's when things can potentially start popping up.

Sorry to hear that. I have a friend that had a pet ferret. I know they freak some people out, but she said they make amazing pets and are very loyal animals.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Pets are very much family and it's incredibly hard to lose that bond, even more so if they were a first pet. In time, it'll get easier.

We ran errands and played bingo on Saturday afternoon as all of our kids were at sleepovers. As we were walking in to Wild Bill's Sports Saloon to get a drink, Mrs. JCylonee said this - "This place is cheesy. Are they playing bingo? This place is great."

One shopping observation - Charming Charlie's has nothing for men to do in the store. It's all women's clothing and jewelry (arranged by color). There isn't even lingerie there to daydream about. You know it's pretty bad when you are wishing you were back in the shoe store.

Well at the shoe store you can at least look at the stiletto heel selection.

anybody have a water bottle they really like? I have a camelbak one but the mouth piece doesn't stay closed anymore and so whenever I get it out of the fridge or it goes through a temp change, water leaks out the top. Super annoying. I know Nalgenes are supposed to be nice but I don't want one with a screw off lid. That's too slow and clumsy for me. Also, I'd end up spilling water. I've seen the Nalgene button type ones and those seem intriguing. I'm terrible about cleaning my bottle so yeah, something that is less prone to mold type stuff.

How about a bike type bottle? Pull spout and squirt. Most of them are dishwasher safe. Some are just a simple one layer, some are insulated.

Something interesting I stumbled across in the last few weeks...the newest generation of diesel vehicles use "Ultra low sulfur" diesel fuel. If you're extracting high sulfur oil, you have to remove it. So, what does one do with some extra sulfur? Ehh, make a pile out back:
