SoundOFF 1,000

Stivers Ford
Hassle doing Iowa radio booth

Crazy it's been a part of Central Iowa sports for 20 years.

Remember the episode with Andy left for KC. Camera following him down Grand as he carried his box, wearing his sports coat and shorts...

I catch Sound Off pretty sporadically...especially if it is outside FB or BB season. That said, this is a must see. looking forward to it.

Grew up watching this show so this is can't miss TV for me tonight. I'm glad I'll be able to stream it online since I no longer live in Central IA. Say what you want about Hassel, but he had some hilarious skits when he was there. Looking forward to some Cooter Ray and Gary Dolphin bits from him tonight, should be quite the show.

Where do you stream it from?

Another one of my favorites was when Keith and Andy showed what it would be like if people reacted to everyday difficulties like soccer players. "This toilet paper feels like sandpaper......AHHHHHH!"

I've never really liked the Nebraska sketches. I don't really hate Nebraska now anyway since they are in the Big 10.

However, I love the Hassel bits where he did the WHO radio Roundoff show impersonating Zabel and Jon Miller. And 'Ask Gary Dolphin' segments were fantastic.

This is still one of my favorites...

I think sound off deserves more credit than its gotten lately. Yes it may not be as good as it was 10 years ago, but it's a great outlet for local sports/culture and has provided countless amounts of amazing material over the years. I really liked the Juice article on the show as Murphy deserves so much credit and praise for what he's put into the shoe over the years, and being loyal to the community while maintaining a top notch quality show instead of leaving for the 'next' big thing.
