As your yard fills in and you start fighting dandelions, remember that there are really only two ways to fight them.

1. Have a thick, full yard of grass so that there's little room for the dandelions to grow.
2. Use chemicals.
My neighbor from 2 years ago. It's worse now

And you can easily get #1 with #2.

That is really bad.

He's just waiting for it to go to seed so he can take them out with his leaf blower. Lawn care is easy.
This year there is a lot of that purple stuff growing that's creeping into my yard. She had a for sale sign a few weeks ago and it is now down. Hopefully it is sold to someone that will exercise some reasonable amount of lawn care. I haven't noticed anyone move in or out but the furniture is gone from the back deck.

Most weed and feed takes care of the problem pretty well for at least a few weeks. I generally follow up my weed and feed by spraying and they're generally gone in about a week. If you do that regularly for the summer it should put your yard in pretty good shape. A good lawn service is even better but will cost a bit more.

When do you spray them? Fall works best.

was going to screenshot my fitbit sleep stuff but there are a lot of screens. It automatically tracks your sleep (based on movement, so yes, it will pick up naps too) and then tracks restless/awake minutes as well. You can look at that over time to see if there is a pattern on how much or when you are restless and such.

I figured you didn't want to answer the questions as to what those crazy 30 seconds were every so often at night.

probably mostly that I couldn't figure out how to quickly take a phone screenshot. DH just told me how but I forgot.

Judging by a couple people I follow on Twitter it is take your kid to work day. Didn't know that was still a thing.
