That Jackson thread had gone so far off the deep end long before any of the real random stuff started.

The Jackson thread had become a Malou thread. At the risk of upsetting G, I'm pretty sure Jackson sleeps with this pillow.

Damn. Going into the Donovan Jackson thread after missing it for the last few hours is like showing up late to a party, going up to the keg and hearing that khooogh sound as no beer comes out.

Pretty good analogy there. I remember thinking that way when I finally figured out which thread was the **** Iowa thread. Luckily, that one did continue for a while.

Some guy ran the 5K with a sousaphone, so no excuses.

I trained for a 5K a number of years ago and listened to music the whole time. Then, when I got to the race, they wouldn't allow headphones (I guess this is common practice, but I wasn't aware of it at the time). Needless to say, having to all of a sudden run without music was a blow to me, mentally. It was a rough 5K for me.

Since then, I've ran without music and it hasn't been a big deal. I usually run late at night, too. I dig the quiet.

That was my fault. I went on an attack against the insiders and all hell broke loose from there. The comment by jcyclonee about CF being Catsup Fanatics had me rolling. Debating making an official CF Condiment Thread with a poll and everything.
