THEYRE PUTTING IN A FIVE GUYS AT THE LINDALE MALL THIS IS NOT A DRILL

Five Guys burgers are good, but it's totes expensive to eat a meal there. The burgers are like $9-10ish and small fries (which is all you really need because it's still a ton) are about $3ish so you're already at $13-14 and that's not even including a drink. Only people like 2015 can afford to eat there regularly. :jimlad:

Ten years ago tonight I saw my first tornado just north of Marion (tornado 1 on the link below).

Nice. I've seen a handful of tornadoes (Colorado game in 2005 but didn't have a great view from the stadium, Mapleton, IA EF3 from a distance of about 8-9 miles, a few after dark tornadoes from that same Mapleton storm, a really nice funnel cloud in Colorado but it never touched down from what I could tell) but I've never seen a highly visible tornado from close-ish range (within 3-4 miles) and I hope I get to sometime. I have some pictures on my old storm chasing blog which is linked in my signature.

Have I ever told you all my 5 Guys story? Too bad, I'm telling you again.

We were out and about and my son fell asleep in the car. We decided to get something to eat and Mrs. Velo suggested 5 Guys. I had never been to one - really I had never even heard of one - but I was game. I slung my out cold 3 year old over my shoulder and went in. It was overcast and just after dusk so we went from dark and quiet outside to bright and noisy inside. My son woke up looked around and promptly vomited whatever bright red drink he had been drinking before he went to sleep all over me and my Cyclone leather jacket. We obviously got our meals to go.

This was like 5 years ago but I can't see or go into a 5 Guys without this experience immediately coming to mind.

Now is when you type TL;DR.

Let's make fun of disabled people. It'll be funny.

Opened the thread, figured out what the vid was without opening it based on the "diner" name and the comments, left the thread. Parkinson's runs in both sides of my family - a half dozen blood relatives including maternal grandmother & uncle, and paternal grandfather. I may deal with it in the future, and I don't find it particularly funny. :(

Never heard of this 5 guys place.

Much like Texas Roadhouse, don't go if you have a peanut allergy.
